ABLETON LIVE CLASSES

skill level: Intensive (for beginners), Small Classes, JULY 2025. Classes will be taught over the course of 4 weeks, beginning MONDAY jULY 7-31. 2 class will be held on location at Superior Elevation Records, located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYC. 616 Grand St. 11211 - accessible to the L train.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS:

SPENCER HOHL (MONDAY)- Spencer has been using Ableton since 2008 to produce music, starting with Ableton 8. He has since been working with many labels and release multiple releases under Artist alias Seb Hall. He runs his own record label and studio, where he works with a wide variety of vintage and modern synths and drum machines. He works as an Audio technician for Public Records, a premiere music venue for electronic music and high fidelty sound. In his beginner class he shares foundational techniques and creative workflows he's honed over more than a decade in dance music production.

NICHOLAS COMARATTA (THURSDAY)- Musician, DJ & Producer for over 10 years in the NYC scene. Nicholas has been obsessed with Ableton since 2011. In addition to DJing, he plays in and produces various psychedelic rock bands around BK and helps run the DIY venue and studio, the Dark Room. He will provide you with the perfect introduction to producing in Ableton, from interfaces and midi to sequencing, arrangement and mixing. By the end of the course, you will have completed one beat from start to finish.

The cost of the course is $800 before tax.
